ELIGIBILITY: All competitors must be individual members of USA Shooting. This competition is open to all competitors born in 1988 or later.
RESIDENCE: Each competitor may claim residence in only one state and must declare the state of residence on the entry form. Residents are eligible for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place USA Shooting State Champion medallions. Non-residents may compete for automatic and at-large invitations to the National Championship and are encouraged to do so.
STATE RESIDENT
QUALIFIERS: USA Shooting will issue official invitations to the National Junior Olympic Shooting Championships (NJOSC) for the high scoring male and high scoring female resident from each State JOSC, provided they fire a minimum qualifying score. Resident collegiate and/or military competitors are eligible for the state resident champion awards and are also eligible for resident state qualifier invitations.
ENTRY: Shooters may not compete in more than one state JOSC. Juniors who fire in their own home state JOSC will not be allowed to shoot in another state. Juniors from states which are not holding a state JOSC and those who cannot attend their own state JOSC will be allowed to enter the automatic/at-large division in another state. At entry, non-resident juniors must declare that they are shooting for an at-large/automatic invitation.
Residents may choose to enter the Automatic/At-large category instead of the Resident Qualifier category if they are confident they can shoot above the automatic score and secure an invitation. This would allow another competitor to receive the State Qualifier invitation.
A. Resident Qualifier Competitors shooting in their declared state of permanent residency. Competitors in this category are eligible to be the state resident qualifier to the National JOSC.
B. Automatic/At Large Competitors shooting in other than their declared state of residency are eligible for at-large/automatic invitations to the National JOSC.
RULES: Current USA Shooting Rules will govern.
COURSE OF FIRE:
Open International Standing Match (SAR). This 10 meter, 60 shot / 1 hour 45 minute air rifle event for men and a 40 shot / 1 hour 15 minute air rifle event for women will be fired at various times. Finals will be fired but will not count in your Qualification Score.

Shooters will call their own Finals shot value by looking through their own spotting scope, and then calling the shot value out to the Match Director in sequence. All Finals targets will be scored and values verified immediately following the completion of the individual Finals Relay event. The 60 / 40 shot scores without Finals will be used to determine standings.
ท Time-Sixty shots standing air rifle for men in (3 x 35 minute blocks) and Forty shots for women (2 x 37.5 minute blocks) plus sighters at the beginning of each 20 shot group.
ท Entry Fees- $20 per individual shooter. All competitors MUST be USA Shooting members. Membership is available via the USA Shooting web site at www.usashooting.com

The 3x20 scores without Finals scores, will be used to determine winners in individual competition. Shooters will call their own Finals shot value by looking through their own spotting scope, and then calling the shot value out to the Match Director in sequence. All Finals targets will be scored and values verified immediately following the completion of the individual Finals Relay event. Spot Checks may be conducted by Match Officials as needed. This 50 foot, 60 shot Smallbore event for men and women will be fired various times. Finals will be fired but will not count in your Qualification Score.
December 9th Sunday morning 3PSB Relay 2 (0800 1100) December 15th Saturday morning 3PSB Relay 3 (0800 1100)
ท Time- 20 shots in each position of prone (36 minutes), standing (54 minutes) and kneeling (45 minutes). All shooters will shoot finals. Finals preparation to start 5 minutes after kneeling finishes.
ท Entry Fees- $20 per individual shooter. All shooters MUST be USA Shooting members. Membership is available via the USA Shooting web site at www.usashooting.com
DISTANCE: Air Rifle and Air Pistol are 10 meter events, Smallbore is 50 feet.
TARGETS: Targets are: Air Rifle AR-5/10, Air Pistol B-40, Smallbore USA-50.
COACHING: Coaching on the firing line will not be permitted.
CHALLENGES: A scoring challenge fee of $1.00 per individual target is in effect. Competitors will circle the target number associated with each individual target to be challenged. Only the Competitor may challenge.
TIES: All ties will be broken by Finals Scores added in accordance with USA Shooting Rules.
PARTICIPATION
PINS: A Junior Olympic participation pin provided by USA Shooting will be given to each competitor.
AWARDS: Provided by USA Shooting USA Shooting will provide a gold medallion for the top resident individual, silver medallion for the 2nd place resident individual and a bronze medallion for the 3rd place resident individual. Additional awards my be presented depending on total numbers of Junior Olympic entries.
MAKE ENTRY: Entries should be made using the entry form enclosed with this program. Mail entries to the contact person shown at the top of the first page.
ENTRY FEES: $20.00 per individual, per event.
ENTRIES CLOSE: Advance entries will close _15 November 2007_. Entries will be accepted to range capacity. Every effort will be made to accept all competitors who enter before the closing date.
LATE ENTRIES: Day of Event "Walk-Ups" and entries received after 15 November 2007 will be accepted up to range capacity. A Late fee may be charged.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations received one week in advance, or earlier, will receive a full refund.

RANGE: How to Find The Ole Mill Range Complex in Griffin GA.
Directions from Yahoo or Map Quest 129 North Searcy Ave., Griffin GA 30223
From Atlanta and I-75/I-85 North Metro Areas: Take I-75 South to exit 216 and go south on Highway 155 for approximately 8 miles until you reach the 4-way stop. Turn right onto Jackson Rd. (West) Highway 155 for aprox 5 miles. The Ole Mill Range Complex will be on your left, one mile inside the city limits of Griffin.
From the Spalding Co Court
House.
Travel east on Solomon St for aprox 1 mile. Cross over the Railroad Tracks at
Searcy Ave. Turn North (Left) on Searcy for aprox. .3 mile. The entrance to The
Ole Mill Range Complex is on the West side (Left) of Searcy Ave, across from
UPS.
Registration and equipment unloading will be at the Searcy Street entrance. Parking will be in one of the 3 adjacent lots outside the fenced in area. Equipment Spot Checks may be conducted by Match Officials as needed.
