The Ole Mill Range Complex:
Conveniently located across from the Griffin UPS sort facility, at 129 North Searcy Ave, 8/10 of a mile east of Akins Feed and Seed, (on Broadway Street / 155 Highway) Griffin, GA 30223. Office (770) 467-4225

Our introductory program is for youth safety education, normally fourth and fifth grade, with some training in specific marksmanship positions and exposure to competition. The basic 10 week youth safety course is $50.

We provide opportunities for young athletes to compete in local, state, and national level competitions, with a special emphasis in preparing athletes for collegiate scholarship opportunities.

The Ole Mill Range Complex consists of 52 (10m) airgun firing points. Fourteen of our firing points are for dual use in air rifle / .22 smallbore as well as 10 (50m) smallbore lanes. This facility is one of the few indoor facilities in the entire nation.

The 10m range conforms to International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) specifications for target height and distance, and features individual target lighting (>1500 Lums) for range illumination.

Most facilities of this type require shooting tables to raise the competitor to the proper target height. This one does not.

The range facility operates with similar safety rules and procedures as other National Level competition ranges. Airguns are required to be cased and uncased on the firing line only – no guns are allowed to be handled behind the firing-line. Airguns are also required to be kept pointed downrange, with actions open when not in use. Only .177 cal. target velocity Airguns and Standard velocity .22 cal. ammunition are allowed.

The range is open on Thursday and Friday evenings, and by appointment.

Juniors join ($75.00 per yr) thru the Spalding Co 4H (770) 467-4225.  Adults join thru Spalding Co Shooting Sports ($75.00 per yr) (770) 467-4225

Range rental (till noon) is $500.00 for a half day and $750.00 for a full day.
